Now, it's understandable that a crappy internet connection (like mine) can cause it and it's fine.
The question is, is there a way to automatically retry these downloads or I'll have gaps in my data?
Tickstory will automatically retry the download several times before ignoring the mentioned set of tick data. If you have an intermittent internet connection, the best way to deal with this to use the "Download" option first. After that, you should be able to use the "Export" option and no errors should occur since the data would be been download to disk (if you do encounter the error again, you should repeat the process).
