concerns about the spread downloaded and tested spread
which is the difference between the spread placed on the properties of the symbol in tickstory ( Export to MT4) and we place in metatrader strategy tester , which spread will take in the backtest ?

Hi Kchriztiam1985,
MT4 made a change a couple of months back to provide a "spread" box in the Strategy Tester to easily change spread without having to change the actual data file. Therefore, you should use this Strategy Tester 'spread' field as it overrides any setting within the data file (make sure you read our release notes on how to set the spread correctly here: tickstory.com/articles/tickstory-v1-7-4-released/). We still include this field in our FXT data editor to maintain compatibility with older versions.
