WIN 10 Issues

Hi
I am considering moving to Win 10 permanently.
Currently I am using TL 1.5.3 with MT4 (build 765) under Win 7.
Access to Webfolders is blocked. In Win 7 all is fine.

Now I migrated to Win 10. Blocked access to the same Folders as in Win 7.
TickLite does'nt open MT4 anymore.
No error message. Just does not become visible.
However, I find it running in the Task list.
It's like running in the background.

If I go for TS 1.7 (ie. buy in) will I have the same problems?
Are you supporting the latest MT4 builds or do I have to block the upgrades again?
And finally, has MetaQuotes found another way to upgrade?
If so, how do I block it?

Is TL 1.7 allowing to export incrementally?

Thanks for your patience

regards

Hi Ekke,

In response to your questions:

- I'm not sure what you mean by "Access to webfolders"? Is there a specific path you don't have access to? If there is an issue we will definitely look into addressing it in the licensed version.
- The licensed version of Tickstory does support the latest MT4 Build 950 so you don't need to block any upgrades for the time being (unless there's a breaking change in the future).
- The licensed verison of Tickstory does not currently support incremental updates but it is on our todo list.

Hope this answers your questions.

Hi

Thanks for answering so promptly.
One issue is still unanswered.
In Win 10, running TickLite, I can't see the MT4 terminal (765) although it is
running when I look at the task list in TaskManager.
Just doesn't show up on the screen.

Have you perhaps got an answer for that?

Thank you

Hi

I meant acces to the Folder: C:\ProgramData\Metaquotes\Webinstall.

Blocking System Access to that Folder stopped the updates.

Hi Ekke,

We haven't noted the issue you describe with the Metatrader before. If you have a licensed version we would be able to assist you further to resolve this issue. In the event we can't for some reason, we will provide you with a full refund.

Regards.

Hi

That's ok. Fair enough.
I am going to sign up now.

If I decide to stay with MT4 (build 765) running under TL
will I be eligible for support?

Thanks for answering
keep well
