I am sure that it is already discussed somewhere, but I am too old to spend many hours trying to find it.
My doubt is: I work with a MT4-Build 950, and want to backtest an EA downloaded through MQL5 community. Is Tickstory (Lite or Standard) suitable for this purpose?
Thanks a lot, friends, for your help.
Using EAs from MQL5 community
Re: Using EAs from MQL5 community
Hi Rafachuskas,
There is a bit of information in this forum which we try to summarise in our main website (https://tickstory.com) under the headings "News" and "Help".
Regarding your question, it is possible to back-test EAs taken from the MQL5 community. If you are using Build 950, then you will need to utilise the 'Standard' version of Tickstory since the 'Lite' version does not support the latest MT4 Builds.
Hope this helps you!
