Question about time

Post by pipmatix »

Hi Guys,

New here, so please forgive the question if it's been asked and answered before.

I bought tickstory to download data and export to a file. As I understand it draws data from Dukascopy.

I'd like to have it so that my daily candles close at 5pm NY time but I'm not sure what is the time data for Dukascopy and whether they use DST.

Can anybody please advise what I need to change the time setting to so that candles will close at 5PM NY and whether DST is accounted for?

Many thanks in advance!
James

Hi James,

Welcome aboard. There is an option at the top of the time-zone list called "New York time" - this is what you are after. It automatically adjusts for daylight savings.

Regards.

Thanks for the help. This was driving me crazy as my brokers charts are the correct 5pm EST charts but the Tickstory data was using the Sunday candle - all fixed now thanks to your help.
