If I already have downloaded data and I simply want to convert into csv format, does TickStory still attempt to check the internet to get more data? I should be able to use the existing database and generate csv file only from what is already stored locally.
I would like a checkbox that would allow the user to skip checking online for missing files. There could still be a check during the processing to see if there are any gaps in the data, but put that info in the log....still process the csv uninterrupted.
edit: is there a method where you can append to an existing csv file rather than having to regenerate the entire csv file?
skip download when tick data to csv file
Re: skip download when tick data to csv file
Hi 4EverMaat,
Please refer to the manual as it explains how the download function works. Tickstory does not re-download data if it already exists on disk.

Regarding appending to an existing CSV, this function will be available in the next major version of Tickstory.
Regards.
