Problems when trying to test US30

Post by CatalinRat »

Hello everyone. I downloaded the free version of this program, with free data for 6 months and one year. I did everything according to a tutorial on youtube, but I failed to do a proper backtest. I noticed that my broker name for the asset is US30, and the downloaded data has .idx at the end. Could this be the problem? If so, how could I fix it? Thank you very much

Hi CatalinRat,

You need to specify your broker's symbol name when exporting if it is different to the one in TIckstory. Please see this section of the user manual which tells you how to "map" your data to your broker's symbol name.

Thanks.
