Re: cannot download AUDNZD
Hi Braunkf, The problem is more than likely due to some network issue on your side such as not being connected to the internet. To check your connection: - Go to File->Settings->Dukascopy Datasource and press the 'Test' button. If you get an error, you need to resolve the issue with your network fir...

Re: Problem in settings
Good to hear, Tickroll. Re: your questions: 1) Tickstory only exports tick data. If you wish to use open prices, then you don't need to go through all this procedure and simply use the data your broker gives you. 2) You can execute it in the Strategy tester. 3) We are changing this procedure in the ...

Re: Problem in settings
Hi Tickroll - this is the problem by the sounds. You need to export the symbol as it appears in your MT4 terminal. So if, for example, your MT4 uses the symbol "GOLD", should: - In Tickstory, select XAUUSD and the date range (see http://www.tickstory.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=155 for information...

Re: MT4 Data Editor FXT overwritten
Hi Geektrader,
You'll have to give more information about the "error" you are getting. I am not aware of any issue that would cause the back-test not to work. Is Birt also assisting you with your problem?
Thanks.

Re: Problem in settings
Hi Ticktroll, It doesn't appear that you are using the data you have exported from Tickstory. Make sure you have selected the correct "MT4 Server" in your Tickstory settings - if you have two separate servers it is possible that you have downloaded to the incorrect one. In MT4, you can check the his...

Re: time zone
Hi Rp75 - I'm not sure what you're trying to do since there is no instruction to copy/paste data. Could you please follow the steps outlined in the quick-start video to make sure you get a correct back-test first:

Re: MT4 Data Editor FXT overwritten
Hi Geektrader,
It sounds like the launcher has not been applied to MT4. Please check that you are running the launcher on the same MT4 installation as the files you are editing.
Thanks.

Re: data storage and use from external HD
Hi Gabriele, The MT4 installation directory is where you have installed your Metatrader. It is the folder you select when going to Tickstory File->Settings->MT4 Settings. If you are wanting to move this directory to your external HDD then you should be able to, however this may depend on your Metatr...
