As you pointed out, Tickstory does not do anything that requires admin rights. This seems to be a Windows request that the application requires admin for some reason.
We will put an item to address this in a future version.

If nothing is happening, just check your Journal/log tab to see if any error is being reported. As for deleting the history, you can just re-export the symbol and it will overwrite the existing data.

Tickstory does not affect/modify your MT4 installation so I would be trying in the first instance to reboot to try resolve your issue (check also for the existence of terminal.exe in your task-list). If this does not work, I would suggest reinstalling MT4.

Hi Gooly, That's correct - the total bar volume is a sum of all the ticks within the bar, so iVolume(Symbol(),PERIOD_M5,1) should return the total volume for that bar. As for the intra-bar calculation, I am not sure how MT4 handles this and whether it is a cumulative value of the individual tick vol...
