Hi, I cleaned up my vps, uninstalled everything for which I thought that is not necessary, so I removed tickstory, every .net framework, not just 3.5, but v2, v3, v4 etc. When I finished with clean up, installed .Net 3.5 and tickstory, and guess what happend? Yes, Tickstory was re-created the config file, so seems it's not a permission problem, the application can write to that folder.
And yes, tickstory works fine on my local machine (windows 7).
