Tickstory

AS the Forex daa is giving me no trouble, I'll use TickStory for that. I'm now getting my ETF, Stock, Commodity and so on from Alpha Vantage so this is a moot point. Thank you for your quick responses.

I now get my data from Alpha Vantage. The API download is amazingly fast. I cannot get tick level data, but I can get 21 years of 1-minute files. I'll continue getting Forex data via TickStory --no issues with that download.

I did not change the folder or delete any files. I'm working with one machine only. The active subscription is the one I recently purchased

I found that by inserting a starting date in 2017 that stock data can be downloaded from earlier than 2026. However, I get a ton of errors and it took about 10 hours to download 9 stocks. It would appear that the stock data starts to be available on 1/1/2018. I am still downloading using only 2 inst...

I woul dlike ot have at least 5 years of stock data to backtest against. Hopefully you can see the attached image which shows data starting in 2026. Is that a fixed date or is there a way to get earlier data?

All the files I download are being saved under F:\Forex. This includes, crypto, indices, stocks, and ETFs. Cn I get them to save in other places?

More oddities: Well, I'm now creating files and TickStory is not trying to download. It's behaving as it has in the past. I am writing 32 files simultaneously and that seems to be moving along very nicely. NO THAT IS WRONG! IT JUST STARTED TRYING TO DOWNLOAD AGAIN WHILE CREATING 5 MINUTE FILES. Then...
