Should I be disconected for backtesting?

Re: Updating Tickdata
Hi Tickstory, thanks for the answer. Regarding the timezone there is a misunderstanding: Ofcourse you should not keep a list of all brokers within TS. You should only memorize the previous user-inputs. When exporting data to MT I have to give a path for the MT4-installation (=Broker). Correct me if ...

Do I have to download the complete data again? And in conjunction to that, some minor questions/proposals regar...

Re: Discrepancy Visual - Non-Visual Mode
Hi tickstory,
never used offline-charts before
Nevertheless ... when doing so, the offline chart looks identical to the NON-visual chart.

Re: Discrepancy Visual - Non-Visual Mode
Hi Tickstory, to be honest ... I don't know what you mean by "normal historical chart". And I did not see any version being displayd when opening a chart. TS is version 0.9.2.0 MT4 PRO is version 4.00 build 509 When launching MT4 with no open chart, then the main window of MT4 is titeled U...

Discrepancy Visual - Non-Visual Mode
Hi tickstory, while backtesting my EA I observed some strange behaviour. After some investigation I found again some discrepancy between visual and non-visual mode. Diskrepanz-visual-nonvisual.jpg I connected the two corresponding bars with a red line. Especially the upper one causes my problems as ...

Re: Weekend
Hi tickstory, correct - I assume Jan used a different time-zone, as his flat bars are starting at 9 pm. I am sure it will be also starting at 10pm when using the correct time-zone. So the basic issue is the same, which are the flat bars and/or the difference between visual and non-visual backtest-mo...
