Re: Faster backtest with x second interval/timeframe

Hi everybody

If Tickstory team will implement this feature, I think each one of us could test and select
the suitable EAs to benefit from it.
Thank you again, Tickstory, for all your work!

Yes, using RC2 the strategy report normally displays 99.90%. Thank you.

Re: Bactest multiple timeframe

Hi

In what way should we use that code?
Should it be inserted into the EA code?
Thanks a lot.

Modelling quality - n/a

Hello TS I want to thank you again for your great job, your software is a real breakthrough. I've got this minor problem after upgrading the mt4 to 604 build. The strategy report displays "Modelling quality: n/a". I got this for 3 different EA's, 2 pairs and 2 timeframes. I didn't even notice it for...

Re: MT4/tickstory/TDS

Hi Gabriele 1. So I take it the FXT files still remain Read-only after you manually switched the properties. Then they are suitable for use. 2. It is easier for you to use this particular mt4 terminal for backtesting only. Remember there's no need to be a good broker cause you will feed perfect tick...

Re: lost FXT files

Hi Experienced_tester, Just to let you know that we have done further tests on this to try export the data to a USB stick in a similar setup that you have described. Unfortunately we are still unable to reproduce the issue you are reporting - the files are correctly marked as 'read-only'. Can you p...

Re: MT4/tickstory/TDS

Hi Gabriele 1. Even if you studied and applied the rules let me remind once more one of them, just in case: - you choose an mt4 terminal for backtest and then you NEVER start that terminal by itself, without Tickstory. The terminal for backtest purposes will only be started through Tickstory. It is ...

Re: MT4/tickstory/TDS

Gabriele First you have to check if the generated FXT files are read-only. This check should be done immediately after downloading/exporting the data towards the mt4. If they are not read-only then we face the same issue, you can check up my thread here: http://www.tickstory.com/forum/viewtopic.php?...

Re: FXT are not created underst tester\files

Hey damn_testing The FXT files located in tester/history must be Read-only. Right-click on an FXT file and check its Attributes. If they are not Read-only, delete them and you will have to download them again. I also delete the HST files, although Tickstory says it will overwrite them. And immediate...

Re: lost FXT files

My MT4 for backtesting purposes is not on C partition.
Maybe this could be an explanation.

OS: Win XP Prof v2002, SP3 v3264.

Thank you.
