    Hi Mickaswah,

The bi5 files you see are merely the “raw” tick data files that Tickstory downloads from the web. You will need to use the “Export to file” option within Tickstory to produce a CSV file. You can consult the Help manual (press F1) to find out more about this process.

    Regards.

    Hi,
I have been using the export to file option when right clicking on the desired instrument to down load. It seems to download as the bi5 file rather than the csv.
Any other advice. I have used tickstory before about a year ago and didn’t have this problem.

    Thanks

    Hi mickaswah,

If you wish to export to CSV, please right-click the symbol and use the “Export to file” option. The “Download” option merely downloads the data (bi5) files from the internet so you can produce CSV files from it at a later stage via the “Export to file” option.

If you are still having difficulties, it is highly recommended to consult the Help manual by pressing F1 within the application. This gives information on how to export a CSV file.

    Hope this helps.

I have exactly the same issue as this. Was a solution found?

    Here is the solution:

Prefix the export path with a directory name, e.g. c:tmp{Symbol}.csv
